Prayer is often referred to as “lifting the heart up to God”. I feel as though when I do this, I am approaching something very sacred and very, very precious. When I access in my life what is holy and precious God clearly is the highest. I assign his importance a number and them multiply it by 100. Then multiply by 1000 again and before long you are “magnifying” the lord. When I commit this to practice, God becomes sanctified and exalted. Before long this exercise bestows within my midst the unmediated presence of God. It is a presence that is delighted to see me and runs to me from a great distance as soon as I appear on his horizon.
