This short 7-minute video describes midterm grades and course advising period activities for students and advisors, with the first-year student at SUNY Plattsburgh in mind. Produced by the Academic Advising Office for use the first two weeks of October (if in the fall), or the two weeks prior to spring break (if in the spring)--for CFS1889 faculty and their students, but may also be helpful in CLP, FRS, and other FY experience-type courses. Class discussion about the content is encouraged, including time for students to look into their advisor information on MyPlattsburgh or to ask a question about the process.
