Hi gentle people, This beast required some additional efforts but here it is... This new scale model from Das Werk, the VOMAG 9T with 8,8 cm FLAK 36 german anti-aircraft gun is fully completed!!! For sure, a WW2 less known german piece of equipment even if featuring such an iconic gun and probably the first self-propelled anti-aircraft heavy artillery gun! And all this mounted on a......civilian bus chassis! This time, I wanted to sum up the building process together with the painting and the weathering steps, all in one video. It is a very interesting subject, the kit is really nice ,original, with very precise adjustments and nice sculpted details but I do personally not recommend it for beginners modellers due to: the inherent difficulties to interpret the instruction manual the high number of pieces the presence of photoetched parts the weaknesses of the anchor points which turns the assembly a bit more technical. This scale model will take place on a winter diorama which is already in production. So stay tuned... Cette nouvelle maquette de Das Werk, le VOMAG 9T avec canon antiaérien allemand FLAK 36 de 8,8 cm est entièrement terminée !!! Bien sûr, il s'agit d'un équipement allemand moins connu de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, même s'il comporte un canon aussi emblématique et probablement le premier canon d'artillerie lourde anti-aérienne automoteur ! Et tout cela monté sur un......châssis de bus civil ! Cette fois, je voulais résumer le processus de construction ainsi que les étapes de peinture et de vieillissement, le tout dans une seule vidéo. C'est un sujet très intéressant, le kit est vraiment sympa, original, avec des réglages très précis et de jolis détails sculptés mais je ne le recommande personnellement pas aux modélistes débutants pour cause : les difficultés inhérentes à l'interprétation du manuel d'instructions le nombre élevé de pièces la présence de pièces photodécoupées les faiblesses des points d'ancrage qui rendent le montage un peu plus technique. Cette maquette prendra place sur un diorama hivernal déjà en production. Alors restez à l'écoute...
