I fixed my Ernie Ball VP JR for free!

My volume pedal’s main string broke a while ago, so I decided to try a DIY solution. Instead of ordering a replacement, I used a small gauge speaker wire I had lying around — and it actually worked! In this video, I walk through the repair process, from setup to final adjustment. The wire wraps 2–3 times around the volume pot shaft, then continues to the spring anchor. The final string length (from the top anchor, wrapped around to the spring) ended up being about 6.5 inches.
