During his last workshop at Casa de los Artistas, Robert Masla Studios South, contemporary watercolor master Sterling Edwards shared each day a wealth of information on various aspects of watercolor painting. He did numerous paintings, from landscapes to florals and abstracts, along with studio demos and discussions of techniques and methods and principles, he offered suggestions and insights into using photographic references for paintings. He shared valuable critiques and suggestions for improving participants works as well as most importantly sharing his insights into his thoughts processes on the creation of works of art. He also did a number of quick demos of his approach for painting various subjects. This video is a demo of a wave study done from the panoramic view of the Casa studio from the workshop participants vantage point.
