In this first episode of the “JERUSALEM: From Genesis to Jesus” series, TV Host and Executive Director of First Century Foundations, Jeff Futers, goes to Jerusalem in search of the earliest Jerusalem mentioned in the Bible. Joined by Archaeologist and Tour Guide, Danny Herman, Jeff travels to the most ancient part of Jerusalem, the City of David. There, he is among the very first to see what archaeologists believe could be the altar of King Melchizedek! Jeff then joins Israeli Tour Guide, Isaac Karasenti on the Mount of Olives for a beautiful birds-eye-view of Jerusalem through the eyes of Abraham; and together they ascend Moriah in the footsteps of Abraham to look for the location where he nearly sacrificed his son. In this fascinating episode, the significance of Jerusalem from the very first pages of the Bible is revealed and its meaning for Christians is illuminated, substantiated by archaeological discovery.
