He is extensively trained in all niche aspects of spinal surgery having worked in the UK, USA and Switzerland. His special interests are in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery, spinal cord tumours, trauma and pediatric spine surgery. He is also interested in academics, research and training with a research degree from Cambridge University, UK. He is appointed as an Adjunct Professor of Spine and Neurosurgery from Bharat University, Chennai. He has received several awards.
