Diving Safari Liveaboard at Komodo National Park (HD)

This is a film about my diving safari trip at Komodo National Park. Apart from the underwater shots (including Manta Rays, Sea Turtles, Lion Fish, Napoleon Fish, Sea Snakes, Frogfish, Stonefish, etc) you'll see some shots of the beautiful islands around Komodo National Park, Komodo Dragons on Rinca Island and shots during sunset at Kalong Island where you can see thousands of Kalong (giant flying fox bats) emerge from the mangrove island and move towards Rinca Island. I stayed at Labuan Bajo and dived with Divine Diving. The ambient song/soundscape in the video is called 'Below The Ocean'. The Komodo National Park is home to crystal clear waters, and an unsurpassed biodiversity in marine life. The dive sites are one of the world's best dive destinations. Just below the surface of the water, you will find some of the most pristine and untouched coral reef in the world. The park includes the three larger islands Komodo, Padar and Rinca, and 26 smaller ones. These volcanic islands are inhabited by giant lizards, whose appearance and aggressive behaviour have led to them being called 'Komodo dragons'. They exist nowhere else in the world and are of great interest to scientists studying the theory of evolution. The rugged hillsides of dry savannah and pockets of thorny green vegetation contrast starkly with the brilliant white sandy beaches and the blue waters surging over coral. There are a host of animal species that are found on the shores of the Komodo National Park, including: goats, deer, wild pigs and a variety of small mammals and bird life Near Rinca there is an island called 'Kalong Island' where you can see thousands of Kalong (giant flying fox bats) emerge from the mangrove island and move towards Rinca Island. The underwater view of Komodo is the world's epicentre for marine diversity.
