Chang, MD, is a world-renowned microsurgeon and Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Section of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UChicago Medicine. He is leading the future of lymphedema surgery with a clinical study called “LymphBridge: Prospective Evaluation of the BioBridge Scaffold as an Adjunct to Lymph Node Transplant for Upper Extremity Lymphedema” which will test Fibralign's BioBridge Collagen Matrix. The purpose of the study is "to investigate whether the addition of Fibralign's BioBridge® Collagen Matrix (BioBridge) devices to the standard surgery for vascularized lymph node transfer will improve the outcome of surgical treatment in lymphedema of the upper arm."
