Threads: https://www.threads.net/@oohgaryc Our journey starts in London, where we meet at St. Pancras International United Kingdom to begin our magical Disneyland Paris adventure. We check out the Eurostar Business Premier lounge, enjoy complimentary croissants, tea, and a quiet space to relax before boarding. Travelling in Business Premier, we sample a delicious onboard meal, including baked salmon with coconut rice and a selection of sides, which we rate highly for train food! Gary opts for the broccoli and herbal yoghurt salad. Upon arrival at Lille Europe, we navigate the station to show the shops and stop for a loo break. A little tip: bring change for the restrooms as they require a €1 fee, or use the facilities on the train to save money. Boarding our connecting train to Marne-la-Vallée, we settle into comfortable seats and continue our journey. A few hours later, we arrive at Disneyland Paris, greeted by the festive magic of the season! Our first stop is the newly refurbished Disneyland Hotel, where we check into a stunning Superior Four that sleeps upto 4 with views of the hotel gardens. The room itself is beautifully decorated, with Disney Princess touches throughout, making it a truly magical escape. After unpacking, we head straight into Disneyland Park to soak up the Christmas atmosphere. Main Street is lined with glittering lights and festive garlands, and we make our way to a spot for Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade! The parade features favourite Disney characters in their holiday finest, along with Santa Claus himself! It’s a spectacular celebration of the season, with festive music, incredible floats, and even a dusting of snow on Main Street USA. For dinner, we head to Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost. I have a curry pizza and Gary has the four cheese pizza. The evening concludes with the Disney Electrical Sky Parade and Disney Illuminations! from the reserved viewing area.
