Disney, created their studio, "Disney Brothers Studio" to produce and make films after the bankruptcy of Laugh-O-Gram Studio. They later formed Walt Disney Productions in 1934 to create the very first animated feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. With RKO Radio Pictures distributing the film. In 1983, the current day Walt Disney Pictures was formed as part of corporate restructuring and to diversify film subjects and expand audiences for their film releases.
