I am Brett and it’s Sunday so that means! That’s right its Sunday Review time and we have yet another product to review! The product I’m going to be reviewing today came out a while ago but in my eyes is still a phenomenal device to date. I’m talking about the Vaporesso Luxe Mod. Now if you guys don’t know this already, I’m a huge fan of Vaporesso because of the quality and affordability aswell as the user friendliness of their products. Vaporesso have made some incredible devices and it all started with the Vaporesso Tarot Pro. I am not sponsored by Vaporesso and this review is not Sponsored… I wanted to get the Vaporesso Luxe when it first came out. I found it a very beautiful device and when I finally had the money to get one, the Vaporesso Gen came out and I opted to get the Gen instead. Luckily for me however, my mom decided to get the Luxe and so today I will be using her mod to review the Luxe. Thank you mom! So first things first is the box. Nice simple packaging but also looks presentable. If we open it up, we have the mod as the first thing we see and wow I must say, this is a gorgeous device. Very classy looking. If we take the mod out we then have the Vaporesso cable which is awesome as they’ve really given us a good quality cable which is the first sign in the overall quality of the mod. And then we have this small container that has the user manual, warranty card and all that. First impressions of the mod are that, it is quite heavy but that’s because of the steel body so this is a very durable mod. It feels very comfortable in the hand though. It looks very classy and I like the themed battery door. Let’s get a close up on this mod so we can thoroughly check it out. So here we have the Vaporesso luxe. Up top we have the centred 510 pin, on the side we have the only physical button on this mod and that is the fire/power button. On this side we have the battery door which is magnetic, and they use some very strong magnets which is awesome so theres no play and it fits perfectly. It also takes 2 x 18650 batteries which are not included. The other side we have the 2” TFT colour screen. The TFT screen is a lot clearer and sharper and is just in general a lot better than a regular LCD screen. Let’s pop some batteries in here to see how she operates. Okay so as soon as you put in the batteries it automatically switches on. Very clear display and this interface is actually really pretty. It also has a clock so if it goes onto standby, you can select whether it shows an analogue clock or a digital clock. We also have these three touch buttons under the screen here. I must warn you guys though, if you are prone to dropping your mod, any mod that has touch buttons or a touch screen… stay away from them. Because if you do drop the mod, you run a very high risk of it breaking and then you will not be able to use the touch buttons or screen. Just a warning to those who tend to drop their mods a lot. To go up in wattage, you press the right button, to go down, you press the left button. Minimum wattage is 5 watts and maximum is 220 Watts. I love this revving type of look they have to it. To go into the modes and setting you press and hold the Vaporesso logo in the middle. In the mode menu we have variable wattage, SP which is Vaporesso’s Super Player mode which allows the mod to read and fire coil resistances from 0.03 ohms all the way up to 5 ohms. That is an insane range. Then we have variable temperature mode which does work well, we have variable voltage mode which I generally stay away from but if you like it, its there. We have custom curve mode which allows you to change the curve of the power. And then we have bypass which is basically mech mode with safeties. We also have DIY which you then can select your variable wattage mode between soft, normal and hard. So soft starts of softer and then curves up to the power you have set it to, normal has a straight line so it just fires at your selected power when you press the fire button and then hard fires higher and gradually curves down to your selected power.
