At some point or another, you will find yourself working in your shop and need to turn something down to a smaller diameter. Most of us do not have access to a lathe in our home garage or shop. And if you are not lucky enough to have a buddy with access to a lathe, you're stuck relying on a machine shop's services. But sometimes the scope of work you need to do is not justifiable to send out to a machine shop. In this video, I will show you a technique you can use as a substitute. This method is not even remotely as precise as a lathe, but it is an excellent technique to keep in your back pocket. I have bailed myself out of several situations using this technique. ~ Nick #lathe #techtip #diy #autotechnick #mechanichack #drilltrick #makeitwork *************************************************** 📸 ~ IG: / _autotechnick_ 👥 ~ Facebook: / theoriginalautotechnick *************************************************** Take a peek at some of my additional projects & content that you may enjoy: 1988 BMW M5 (E28) Full Restoration: 🔥🔥Comming Soon!🔥🔥 ▶️ 1979 Centurion Jet Boat: • 1979 Centurion Jet Boat ▶️ 2001 BMW M5: • 2001 BMW M5 ▶️ Tech Tips & Technical Deep Dives: • Tech Tips & Technical Deep Dives ▶️ Hot Rods & Domestic's: • Hot Rods & Domestic's ▶️ Dinan E28 M5 (1988 BMW M5): • Dinan E28 M5 (1988 BMW M5) ▶️ 2006 Subaru WRX STi: • 2006 Subaru WRX STi =================================== About AutoTechNick: Growing up in rural Oregon, I was always around Hot Rods & Race Cars.
