We walked along the busy streets of Myeongdong and Hongdae and shopped until we dropped. Although we had some not so great experiences in Korea, we still did what we could to soak in what Seoul is all about. If you’re looking for something flavorful, I would not recommend it as it is more bland and clean. Visit Waggle Waggle Bake Shop for Kpop merch. Check out Hello Kitty Apple Cafe for the cutest cafe experience. If you reserve, you’ll get the best seats. If you don’t (like Christine and I), you may not get the seating that you want. First come, first serve! Walk some more around the area for skin care and unique makeup brands: Hemeko, Skin 1001, mixsoon, etc. Catch a break at this cute cafe, Les Parisens. This cafe has 3 floors, plenty of space to relax and spend some time away from the crowds. Get a personalized and luxurious skin care service at Line Aesthetic. They are foreigner friendly! DAY TWO: HONGDAE Update your profile photo w/Modelro Studio. They are foreigner friendly and kind. They also do not overly edit your pictures as you’ll have full access to witness their edits. It’s super fun and unique, something you do not want to miss. Eat the best gimbap at Samchungdang Hongdae! The portion sizes are large and will fill your tummies up + it is affordable! Go to random photo booths and take pics for fun! Visit 99Style for Balljoint doll accessories. This is an expensive hobby so don’t complain about the prices too much. Buy affordable clothes at Loof, Brand Market and Vansell. Highly recommend Vansell if you’re looking to upgrade your wardrobe into a more trendy Korean street wear style! Cafe time at MocoMoco! If you love pudding and cute colorful drinks, this cafe is for you. The downside is that spacing is limited as well as their waitlist. Try to get a reservation if you come here. Accessorize yourself with cute trinkets and stationeries at BiBi Story! You cannot miss this cute store in Hongdae. Visit Popmart for blind boxes!
