Here you can watch our documentary: In this video, we briefly highlight our documentary about the history of the k.k. Landesschützen, who trained in the Dolomites shortly before the outbreak of the First World War. The mountain troops of the imperial-royal army, known as experienced mountain soldiers, prepared for the challenges of a possible war in this unique mountain setting. To tell the story as authentically as possible, our team traveled to Italy and worked with experienced living history reenactors. These historical reenactment experts used authentic uniforms and equipment to recreate the training and life of the mountain troops.
