#aigenerated #aicoding #vscode #openai #chatgpt #coding In this video, I will show you How to Generate Code using AI in VS Code and Translate it into Other Programming Language. CodeGeeX is a large-scale multilingual code generation model with 13 billion parameters, pre-trained on a large code corpus of more than 20 programming languages. It comes as a plugin for VS Code and I will use it here to demonstrate how to use it to generate code and even translate the generated code to other languages. You can use CodeGeeX to generate code for programming languages such as Python, C, C plus plus, JavaScript, and more. Open VS Code now and in the extensions marketplace, search for this plugin. Install it after it appears there. I have already installed it, so I will just go straight into showing how to use it. To generate a code, you have to define what you want it to generate in plain text as a comment. Add as many details as you can. You can use it to generate simple as well as a little complex code. Press enter and then wait for a few seconds. It will highlight the code now. To add the generated code in the editor, just press tab. There you have it. This way, you can now generate accurate code in VS Code. Now, let’s test it. Well, it works perfectly. However, you must know it doesn’t always generate accurate code, sometimes, you may have to do a little tweaking to make it work. Another thing you can do is translate a piece of code into other programming languages. So, just copy the code that you want to translate. Click on the icon of CodeGeeX from the sidebar and then the code converter will show up. CodeGeex: https://github.com/THUDM/CodeGeeX Paste the code to convert. Set the source and target language from the dropdown now. .Finally, click Translate and give it a few seconds. It will now convert your code into another language and will show it to you. You can copy this code and then use it anywhere you like. This is how you can use CodeGeeX to generate code as well as convert it to another language. l about the new workspaces feature in Microsoft Edge.
