Interestingly, the name Shiraz appeared in the beads discovered from the enclosure of Abu Nasr Palace next to the Shiraz plain and belonged to the late Sassanid and early Islamic periods Hafiziya or Hafez Tomb (opened: 856 AH - 1452 AD) is the burial place of Hafez Shirazi in Shiraz. This building was designed and renovated by the order of Reza Shah to Ali Asghar Hekmat, the Minister of Education at the time, and based on a plan by Andre Godar.
