Surrounded by classical tradition, he has had a promising jazz career, several years in New York, which has led to collaborations with legends such as Larry Grenadier, Brad Mehldau Peter Erskine, Paul Motian, Gary Peacock and Gary Burton. Drummer and composer Brian Blade is recognized among critics as one of the world's best drummers.
