A Week in Tokyo! | Ikebukuro, Roponggi, Mizumoto Park, SVT Concert | Slow Travel Japan Vlog 2024

Last trip of 2024 is to Tokyo! This is my first and only actual vacation of the year and I say that confidently because I did NOT bring any work with me (I left my laptop at home! Can you believe it? I never go out of the country without my laptop, it's a big deal!) and I'm determined to make the most out of it. This trip is a lot of indulging in some of my favorite things. It's equal parts satisfying my wanderlust, fangirling (attending SVT's concert), geeking out (drowning ourselves in anime merch) and keeping our tummies full (of yummy Japanese food)! What I love most about this trip is how much fun we all had despite having vastly different itineraries. We all got to spend time together but also had our own time for ourselves. Slow travel is also something we opted to play around with this time. Winding down, sitting in one place while enjoying the view, idly chattering, basking in the ambiance for hours on end. A sudden shift in gear from the non-stop work I had to endure in the weeks leading up to the trip was something I didn't know I desperately needed. A breath of fresh air and the perfect way to end the year. Here's to more flights and exploring in 2025!
