Back in July we went on a short trip to London and here's what we got upto! After the initial worry of missing the train we arrived in Euston bright and early, had a coffee, hiked through regents park, made our way to the buckingham palace where we saw some soldiers marching to a few musical numbers and we got trapped on a roundabout with a chaotic crowd, we then headed to battersea where we'd wrangled the not so amazing last-minute deal of £180 for the night at a Travel Inn Hotel. After checking out our cheap and cheerful room and freshening up we headed out to the thames-side bars before walking to chelsea and then to hyde park for the British Summer Time Festival (BST Festival) where the Stereophonics and Pearl Jam played until the sun went down. The next morning we checked out and headed to Camden where we explored the market and the bustling streets, however we soon slipped away down the canal for a refereshing beer in a quiet neighbouring area primrose hill and a pub named the albert, before heading back to regents park to get some free camel and monkey viewings at london zoo. we then stopped at regents bar and kitchen where we would highly recommend a beer in the sun with a massive doughnut! We then explored the Queen Mary Rose Garden before making our way back to Euston for a last stop across the road at The Tap before catching the train home. Despite train issues with them cancelling left, right and centre this thankfully didn't affect us and our journey home to Manchester
