Everything you need to know about building a mountain bike trail in my backyard. Stoked to finally be releasing my first mountain bike trail building video and welcome to the channel. This introduction episode gives you an overview of the existing trail and some of the build plans for the future. The trail is built in my dad's backyard... a very large backyard! The downhill mountain bike trail snakes its way for almost 1km down the mountain. It winds through fern gullies, over log bridges and through wild Australian bushland. Berms and jumps have been shaped by hand. I am a new trail builder. Join me on my adventure as I learn the ins and outs of mountain bike trail building and become a better mountain bike rider in the process. This channel is heavily inspired by other channels like Mark Matthews and his Isolation series, Seth at Berm Peak, the other Seth at Backyard Trail Builds, Sam Reynolds, Matt Jones and many more. I can’t thank these people enough for sharing their content. It was videos like these that not only kept me entertained during lockdown but inspired me to get out and build my own trails.
