How to Repair Airstream Wall Skin

We are renovating a 1966 Airstream Ambassador. Our first plan was to just freshen up the interior but as with all things we do we ended up jumping in with both feet and starting from scratch. One thing we discovered was the newer AC unit was improperly mounted leading to cracking and tearing of the interior skin where the walls attached to the ceiling. Andy explains how he remade the supports of 1 inch square tubing and then we tackle the torn aluminum interior skin. You'll see his failed attempt at aluminum welding and the solution we came up. I'm happy with the final results and our problem solving skills!
