CORRECTION: Several advanced researchers/collectors have indicted that these Czech markings on the PP were actually Import Marks and not necessarily Police markings. We have not found enough compelling information which would cause us to take down the video, but do want to caution viewers that the markings on this gun could merely be import marks. Either way it is a rare variation of Walther PP from 1939. Today we explore another variation of the WW2 German Walther pistols, the Czech PP. It was a German-made gun issued to the Czech Police. Only about 600 of these guns were ordered, either PP's or PPK's, making this example extremely rare. The overarching question here is - Why did the Czech police order these guns from Germany when they had the CZ Model 27 that was already being issued to the police? Tom discusses his theory on this and also talks about Germany's invasion of Czechoslovakia during WW2.
