Late September when the mediterranean sky is the bluest, we took a stroll in the center of Milano around the Milan Cathedral, going through the oldest shopping gallery in the world, Teatro alla Scala, the famous Rinascente shopping mall and walking through where to eat good(quick and cheap)! Unfortunately the very much famed panzerotti place Luini is closed on Sunday, but worry not, plenty of other options are available: Cioccolati Italiani, Spontini, Sorbillo, this is to answer the much asked question: where to find good cheap eats in this luxury area! Under the gallery, there many fancy and authentic options - Cracco, Hyatt, Gucci Cafe, the original Camparino for a Milan spritz, or the Marchesi pastry now owned by Prada, secret: if you just want a coffee and a pastry without spending much, enjoying them at the bar(al banco) is just as good and the price is 1/4 of what one pays sitting down at the table.
