Buying a Cheap Comfort 30 Sailboat in Sweden – Fuel Leaks & Exhaust Issue PART- 5

In this video, I take on the brutal task of dealing with the persistent diesel smell in my cheap Swedish boat—a Comfort 30 I recently picked up for around €2,000. The problem? A severely flawed fuel system causes leaks in warm weather and other conditions. To fix this, I completely removed the diesel system, from the plug to the tank, including all fuel pipes and the fuel tank itself. While draining the Yanmar YSE8 engine and emptying the tank filled with green diesel + algae, I made another shocking discovery—the exhaust pipe was in such bad condition that it crumbled apart when I bent it! Having exhaust smoke inside a boat is far from ideal, so I ripped out all the failing parts and cleaned everything. Hopefully, this will finally eliminate the diesel smell ...
