In this video, Plumber-Tom explains the fundamental principles for wet venting as described in International Plumbing Code (IPC) and the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC). Both codes allow for the use of wet venting for bathroom group fixtures including lavatories, toilets or water closets, bidets, tubs and showers. However, there are limits to how many fixtures can be vented using wet vent methods. The IPC will allow for up to two bathroom groups on a wet vent.
