Concord is back and Sony is furious. After shutting down the game, refunding players, closing Firewalk Studios, and wiping Concord from existence, a group of dedicated fans rebuilt the entire backend API and brought the game online through custom servers. Full matches now run again thanks to months of reverse engineering by community developers Red, open_wizard, and gwog. But instead of celebrating a passionate fan revival, Sony has started issuing DMCA takedowns on YouTube gameplay videos showing Concord running on these custom servers. Two major videos were already removed by MarkScan, Sony’s enforcement firm.
