This is #25 in the series and centers on the affirmation, “I Have Been Given a Sound Mind” blending faith-based creativity with artistic expression and is based on the scripture in 2 Timothy 1:7 that reads, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” Back in 2020 I created a series of 93 paintings and put them on the shelf. As I began to get back into creating in 2024 I found these old paintings and decided to breathe new life into them with one of my favorite art techniques…collage.
