He began Tidal Creek Growers, growing containerized bedding plants for large growers and resellers who sell to companies such as Lowe’s and Home Depot; as well as directly to local garden centers and landscapers. Today, Jake and Tidal Creek Growers have expanded to 620,000 square feet of state of the art, heated greenhouse space and 17 acres of shade houses and outdoor fields between two facilities. Annuals, perennials, vegetables, and herbs are sold and delivered by Tidal Creek Growers to garden centers and landscapers throughout the Mid-Atlantic and North East corridor. The company produces over 8 million plants per year.
