Building a 3 axis Arduino Camera Slider Part 2# Prototyping the Tilt Axis

The second part of this Building a 3 Axis Arduino Camera Slider video series is about the tilt axis. To get the beautiful pan shots it’s very important to have a solid and stable platform that can rotate without to much vibration. My initial idea was to mount the platform directly to the motor shaft. The motor had enough torque to rotate the camera, but this setup vibrate to much to get good quality footage. The final prototype, shown in this video, turned out to be a much better solution.
