22nd of June is known as Windrush Day. The Windrush generation is the group of people who migrated from the Caribbean to the UK between 1948-1972. Education 2000 and Amor Promotions put together a spectacular and informative exhibition in honour of both the Windrush generation and their contribution to both British and Huddersfield society. This production aims to celebrate and honour individuals, groups, and organisations from the African Caribbean’s past, present and future generations.
