The Tracks at Brea, California – Urtopia Carbon Fold 1 Ride

Description: Join me for a scenic ride along The Tracks at Brea, a beautiful two-way, paved Class 1 bike path that follows the abandoned Union Pacific (U.P.) Hunts line right-of-way (this line was previously used as a freight link through north Orange County). It stretches four miles through the city, east to west or west to east. It’s a great path with minimal street crossings, plenty of shade and benches, with informational signs about the city along the route. The surface is smooth, there’s a separate pedestrian walkway, and a public restroom near a parking area. Best place to park is at Arovista Park on Imperial Hwy, in the city of Brea. The west end of the trail is across the street from the park. Roughly 3.4 miles one way, took me around 17 minutes. I enjoy riding it back and for a couple of times for a nice excursion. I’ve started cruising the trails on a recently purchased Urtopia Carbon Fold 1 e-Bike, which has rekindled my forgotten memories of how fun it is to ride a bike. And even more so when it’s lightweight, has pedal assist and folds small enough to easily fit in the back seat of my car. I’ll be posting videos of my rides as time allows me to get out riding.
