Comparison of real amps (Mesa Boogie MkV head, 1975 Marshall JMP 1987 mkll, 1984 JCM800 1959 Lead Series, Friedman BE-100 Deluxe and JJ Junior head) and AMP plugins from some of the ML sound Lab’s Amped collection (ML5, ML800, Flagship-Double Jay & Brownie Lead, ML Plexi) The plugin adjustments are a copy of my amp adjustments. I wasn't trying to make them sound the same but just wanted to see how they would sound with the same adjustments. Of course there is a big difference in the sound. Guitar-my sig model Silvia Pepecaster 1-handcrafted by KD loaded with Fralin pups No additional drive fx. Neunaber Immerse reverberator (stereo plate reverb) post added on all guitar tracks. For all real amps I used Bogner 2x12 Oversized cabinet loaded with the stock Celestion Vintage 30s mic’ed up with Shure SM-57 & Royer R-121 Neve 1073lb & Chandler TG2 500 series mic pres.
