The most extensive EMR Meridian (Class 222) soundcheck you'll probably ever hear - Departure -

Idling, drive, full throttle, powering down through most notches, back to drive and back to full throttle on the exit! This amazing ten-car formation Class 222 of East Midlands Railway, had quite the amazing and extensive soundcheck while departing Sheffield for London St. Pancras! Among many, mány captures I took in The UK, I also took quite a few of this magnificent diesel multiple unit, which might just be the last time I'll ever get to experience it in the beautiful mauve-white interim livery of EMR. Now that I'm back home, I'll be spreading out all the captures I've taken more over the upcoming year. Combining them with other shots I'll take when traveling around, or perhaps even when working!
