First convert 0.05% chance of a unit failing over 25 years into a probability: 0.0005 2. Then convert this into the probability of a unit surviving over 25 years: 1 - 0.0005 = 0.9995 3. Now work out the chance of all ten microinverters surviving over 25 years: 0.9995 to the power of 10 = 0.995011235 4.
