Is Hearts2Hearts the next SNSD or Red Velvet?

It's been awhile since SM unveiled a new female group. But after nearly four years, SM's latest, 5th gen female group, Hearts2Hearts, debuted on February 24, 2025. Hearts2Hearts debuted with their MV called "The Chase." It was said that SM was aiming for SNSD or Red Velvet vibe, getting many fans excited. Despite being part of the Big 4 (SM, YG, Hybe, JYP), the group's debut went under the radar with their debut. Fans were still anticipating SM's newest group, since Big 4 groups often have great debuts and soon become the most popular groups soon after. Yet, after group's debut, "The Chase" MV has split many fans' opinions. Rather than most fans loving the new song, as most SM debuts have been, Hearts2Hearts more dreamy, chill, relaxing vibe has put off for many. These critics say that the song doesn't do enough, doesn't have impact, and is "Mid." But why?
