Transnational organised crime is decimating our planet's wildlife. Every twenty-four hours two rhinos are poached. Every second, three sharks are finned. The world's remaining five thousand wild tigers are a target for criminals. Time is running out. Since 2015, the Wildlife Justice Commission has been tackling wildlife crimes through a unique approach. Intelligence-led investigations support law enforcement agencies, which resulted in dozens of high-level arrests and networks dismantled. So far, with a 100% conviction rate for all matters finalised at court. The Wildlife Justice Commission urges policy makers and governments to make the fight against wildlife crime a priority to prevent further biodiversity loss.
