MEETING HYPERBIEN [Ep.7]: Chessington World of Adventures

It's time to tell you about my adventures during the big trip of 2024: the Hyperbien Meeting!! Organized by Coasters World, a group of 27 park and roller coaster enthusiasts set off to explore England. The program included a week of visits to the best parks in the country: Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Alton Towers, Drayton Manor, Thorpe Park, Paultons Park, Chessington World of Adventure, and finally Legoland Windsor. A very busy schedule, then, with a great team, created a great atmosphere during this week, where good times flirted with surprises and disappointments. Let's start with the bonus parks of this trip, starting with Chessington World of Adventures. This park, located in the suburbs of London, is also part of the Merlin group. It combines attractions and a zoo; it's like England's Bellewaerde. Among the things not to be missed, Dragon's Fury: a very energetic and appropriately long spinning coaster. Also noteworthy is the World of Jumanji area. I wasn't expecting anything from this one, and it ended up being a pleasant surprise, especially the Mandrill Mayhem coaster! However, the Vampire was a disappointment, certainly the most legendary coaster in this park, but unfortunately far from being the best. In the end, Chessington was a winner, a pleasant surprise, because given some reviews of the park, it wasn't a given!
