Last year's Heritage Proximo brought us back to the retro styling of the Air Max 180 and this year Nike takes us back to the stylish yet simple Air Max 97. What's up soccer fans and welcome to another unboxing here at SoccerPro.com, well if you haven't figured it out already, under the lights we have the latest MagistaX Proximo II heritage edition from Nike. The official colors on these are gonna be grey, red and black which pays homage to the Air Max 97's original colors. If you look even closer, the badges are retro with that super small Nike swoosh on the side that is, well, smaller than we are used to seeing with the modern take on Nike's design. Along the upper you'll also notice that sleek wave graphic that's been adapted from the '97 style but with a more modern twist to bring it up to date. The upper is your standard kit however with a Flyknit base, reinforced Flywire strings for stability and lockdown as well as a nice honeycomb shape for that perfect touch and ACC technology is standard. And these boots do feature a dynamic fit collar as well as asymmetrical lacing for a better striking surface when you're on the ball. Flipping this over, we find the indoor soleplate with a circular traction pattern for outstanding grip and to top it all off, we have two layers of Lunarlon cushioning to really give you the support and comfort you need for playing hard on hardcourt surfaces. It's worth pointing out that if you're looking to sport that onfield look while off the pitch, these would make far better street shoes than a firm ground Magista, however you will notice some increased wear as these are meant for indoor, court and hard surface play as opposed to tearing up main street.
