This cuvée marries 52% Sonoma County and 48% Mendocino County Pinot Noir. From Sonoma, Harmony Lane contributes the backbone (45%), with its fog-kissed Russian River fruit delivering depth and elegance, while the Dijon 777 block from van der Kamp Vineyard on Sonoma Mountain adds spice and structure. Across the county line, the extreme Manchester Ridge Vineyard (2,200 ft, just five miles from the Pacific) provides lifted aromatics and bright energy, with one-third of its fruit vinified using carbonic maceration for added juiciness and perfume. Tasting Notes The wine opens with vibrant aromatics of wild strawberry, pomegranate, and red currant, layered with rose petal, coastal sage, and a hint of sea breeze minerality from the high-altitude Manchester fruit. On the palate, a juicy core of raspberry and Bing cherry is framed by fine-grained tannins and a thread of savory spice from the Sonoma Mountain Dijon 777. The carbonic element adds a silky lift and playful brightness, while the Russian River component grounds the wine with supple texture and lingering notes of black tea and forest floor.
