Our monthly NIGHT BASS line-up is always stacked with top-drawer talent serving up the best underground vibes, and July was no exception. Meet Star Eyes, one of our favorite East Coast DJs who threw down 45 minutes of dance floor fire. Fifteen years after beginning her career as a turntablist, New York-based Star Eyes has cultivated a uniquely blended sound of grime, UK funky and heavy bass. When she’s not busy curating her own dance-floor magic, she’s running record label Trouble & Bass which releases bass-focused tunes and hosts events across New York City.  Check out Star Eyes’ live set from the seventh installment of NIGHT BASS where she spun at Sound Nightclub alongside DJ EZ, AC Slater, Petey Clicks and Bones. Star Eyes’ mix is brimming with haunting basslines, funky future garage and swirling deep house grooves.
