Making a Grape Vine Bottle Stopper with Resin

A few months back, I picked up some grape vines from Farmhouse Vineyards in the Texas High Plains with the the promise to make some bottle stoppers for them. It took me a little while to get started on them because I wanted to do the vines justice and needed to mull over how to best handle the crack the went into the pith. I settled on clear epoxy and really like how you can see into the piece when the light hits it.I think the test pieces were a success, and I can't wait to make at least a dozen more in the weeks to come!
