In this video I will show you the default way of password protecting a single page by using WordPress's built in password feature and we will also use a plugin called SeedProd that will add a lot more control in design and functionality when adding passwords to a single page in WordPress (step by step). You will first see how to do this with the built-in functionality of WordPress itself. This feature does not allow you to customize the page design or functionality and it is based off your installed themes design. A better way to do this is by using the SeedProd Pro plugin which offers access controls with it's Coming Soon Mode. You will learn how to install SeedProd Pro quickly and easily. Next, you will import a pre-made SeedProd template that we will use for your password login page in WordPress. You will edit the page to look and feel however you wish. After that you will add in the password field into the page by using a simple SeedProd short-code. When the page is fully setup you will then go to the access control settings to setup your password and to modify who is allow to access the page and how by either selecting the whole website or a single page. We will select the single page option and then continue to test it on a new password protected page to make sure everything is working properly.
