Ok, finally managed to finish my new Any% TAS. It took a lot of effort and I hope you can see that in the final result. A couple of things to mention, this TAS was spliced (even though you won't notice it) because that makes the tassing process much more managable. Additionally, I've chosen to inject RNG for this tas, instead of doing all of the rng manipulation by hand. This essentially means that I could choose the outcome of specific RNG rolls, which allows me to control how a certain scenario will turn out given that I know what I'm looking for. An example of this would be choosing the angle at which gruz mom flies when starting the fight. However, this required me to reopen the tas every time I had to change the rng I wanted, so I still did a lot of standard RNG manip. This TAS still isn't perfect, as there still are some small mistakes, the most notable ones being that I could have skipped getting 2 geo from the fury geo rock and killing the husk near city's fountain (which gave me 9 geo). This lost me in total less than 0.1s though. The route this TAS follows is very similar to the one my old TAS followed, so there are no new WCS proofs, you can check them in the description of that video ( • New Hollow Knight Any% NMG TAS in 25:29.66 ). Furthermore, this time I'll make put the FAQ in a pinned comment so it's more visible. Lastly, huge shoutouts to / @peekagrub , for improving my King's Pass TAS and allowing me to use it; to @jarlyk , for creating the tooling I used throughout the entire TAS and to the Hollow Knight TAS discord ( / discord ) for being an amazing community. Some further technical details, This TAS was done on version 1.2.2.1 of Hollow Knight following the No Major Glitches Ruleset (https://github.com/hk-speedrunning/HK...) and using libTAS v.1.4.6_edc6bf7 (it's an interim, so its not widely accesible anymore).
