Two intense days on the road – rain, exhaustion, and one big mistake. I started in the Netherlands and headed toward Germany. After a long rainy ride, I decided to rest in a hotel. The next day, I crossed the border into Denmark, aiming to reach Helsingør and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Kronborg Castle. But things didn’t go as planned. I arrived too late, the sun had already set, and the local campsite was closed. I tried to wild camp – only to discover (a little too late) that wild camping is illegal in Denmark. After a stressful moment in the dark and some Googling, I realized my only option was to leave. Tired and a bit frustrated, I rode to the harbor – thinking I'd sleep there. But then… a surprise. A ferry to Sweden at 1:10 AM. I took it. At 2:00 AM, I finally found a quiet spot to set up my tent and sleep.
