Oogie Boogie Bash 10/16/25 - Villains Grove walk through and end of Night

The last hour or so left at the park and there was one last stop for us to make before we leave DCA. This is something that is only done during Oogie Boogie Bash. Redwood Creek turns into Villains Grove. It was already pretty late out and mind you, this was our first day. We arrived early in the morning, rested for a few hours and went to OBB event. So we were pretty tired. Daddy and especially Braden was feeling super tired and wanted to go back to the hotel already. As we were walking to Villains Grove, there was a huuuge crowd going there too! then again, it could be that they were also walking back to the front of the park, to the Esplenade. But there was a line to get into VIllains Grove. It is so beautiful. It reminded me, Mommy Gie, of being like Alice in Wonderland. Because that's basically what it seemed like, you walk through this eerie cave looking thing, and you enter a world of wonder. You enter the Evil Queens lair, Chesire cat, Scar with the Hyenas, and Maleficent. There might have been other villians in this trail, but couldn't really guest anyone else. The lights and the effects were amazing! The twinkling lights on the tress lit up the sky so beautifully and guided us way out. Walk through another tunnel like you are about to leave the land of wonder, wake up from a dream and back to reality. It was so magical. Definitely recommend trying this at least once to experience it. Also, there is a part where you do have t walk down and up the stairs, just in case you were wondering. Headed over the Carthay Circle fountain over at Buena Vista Street and you are welcomed by the purple lit trees and under those tress we saw Queen of Hearts having a time of her life and dancing. We also saw what looked to be Prince Hans from Frozen, Villains do afterall come out during the event, so it would not have been Prince from Cinderella. We didn't know that there was another treat trail on the way out. So we stool in line to get more candies. Our over all experience at Oogie Boogie was amazing! I am glad that we finally got tickets to the event. It is something that will always be memorable to us. Was it worth it? Most definitely! Would we do it again? Of course! No doubt!
