Intel and AMD worked together on Hades Canyon, the new NUC that combines i7 Coffee Lake CPUs with AMD Vega M GPUs. Ad: Thermaltake View 37 on Amazon https://goo.gl/WYbHRB Article: https://www.gamersnexus.net/hwreviews... Buy the barebones NUC (Newegg): https://goo.gl/2GKx8q We review the Intel NUC Kit NUC8i7HVK, also known as the Hades Canyon NUC. Intel's Hades Canyon small form factor PC fits in an 8.5" x 5.5" shell, priced between $700 and $1100, depending on if you go for a barebones or fully built system. We benchmarked the Intel Hades Canyon NUC for thermals, noise, and gaming performance, including benchmarks for Rocket League, Sniper Elite 4, CSGO, DOTA2, and more. Overall, we were surprised by the NUC's performance. Vega M GH and an i7 work well together, and the NUC8i7HVK's overclocking capabilities are well received. Although we became thermally limited quickly, the ability to overclock Hades Canyon gave us notable performance uplift in some tests.
