Hey guys... so this week I wanted to tell you why I use EVA foam rather than XPS Foam. For me XPS is very expensive - about £65 for a 8x4 sheet and locally it is only stocked with a sheet of plasterboard laminated to it! But the main reason is that I not only build terrain pieces I also love Cosplay... lockdown has reduced the need for cosplay builds but I still have builds in progress! EVA foam is at the heart of the Cosplay community but it has a solid place here in the terrain building community too. There are a few differences between using XPS foam and EVA foam and so I would like to take this opportunity to give you a little look at what you need to consider if you plan on using this very versatile and affordable material in your terrain builds.
