Did our video help you? If so, consider buying us a beer: https://bit.ly/3feE6tJ *PLEASE READ THIS AND THE COMMENT WE PINNED FOR HELPFUL INFORMATION* In this video, we show you how to swap in an E-Locker rear end into your 3rd Gen Toyota 4runner. This video would also help somebody wanting to do this on their 1st Gen Tacoma because we cover procedures like the necessary wiring that would be similar for both the 4runner and Tacoma. Seydzh was the master of this repair since he did all the research and I (Timmy) was pretty much along for the ride filming and helping where I could. The guy also gave him the e-locker ecu, the switch and the necessary plugs to wire it up. This video walks you through swapping the rear end and doing the necessary wiring to make the e-locker work. We did not show swapping of the front differential because we already have another video for that right here: • Front Differential Replacement (3rd Gen 4r... 48:50 For getting the "RR Diff Lock" on the dash to light up, my '98 SR5 required the wire to go into pin #8.
