Now, amidst Donald Trump's frightening return to power, we are organizing a series of benefit concerts, protests, service work and more to mark our 40th Anniversary and build something better than his ugly vision for America. Positive Force began in the depths of the Reagan era with a dozen or so mostly teenage punks who decided to turn talk into action, breaking out of their isolation to organize protests and benefit shows, as well as educational events and direct service with marginalized communities, all as volunteers. Forty years later, Trump 2.0 has grabbed virtually all the reins of government -- and Positive Force is still here, seeking to meet this dark moment with courage, creativity and compassion.
